Cirrostratos is a whispy and soft shawl/wrap showcasing the beauty of brioche stitches by juxtaposing the soft grid formed by honeycomb brioche stitch and the clear straight lines formed by brioche stich.

The piece starts with a provisional cast-on in the center. Slip stitch edges form clean edges lengthwise, the i-cord-bind-off gives a polished finish. The pattern is easily adaptable in length and width – just cast on more or less stitches.

There are many ways to knit honeycomb brioche (and many videos out there), here are two options:
A video (with German text) for the way described in the pattern: eliZZa’s “Netzpatet stricken
A video (in English) for a different way: eliZZZa’s “How to Knit * Honeycomb Brioche Stitch
