Sizes given are finished measurements. You’ll need 8 (8, 9, 9, 10, 11, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14, 16) balls of the recommended yarn, shown in color “Burgundy”, to knit the different sizes.

We often think of intricately patterned sweaters when we think of yoked garments, but they work just as well when completely unadorned. This gloriously plain “blank slate” sweater will help you get comfortable with yoke techniques without worrying about stitch patterning, and provides a lovely canvas onto which you can insert your own stitch patterns should you so choose.

I’ve worked this sweater in a soft, easygoing superwash wool that is economical and comes in a variety of colors, and kept the stitch counts easy to improvise on.
