Inspired by the Liveship Traders series by Robin Hobb, this hat could have been worn by Althea Vestrit when she disguised herself as ship’s boy so she could prove herself a sailor. This hat bedecked with coins and sailors queues would have kept her warm while she worked alongside the ship’s hunters on the cold winter seas. As a nod to her feminine side, the top decreases bloom into a flower where no one else would see it unless they were looking down on her from the rigging.

Worked in two different and complementary cable patterns, this hat stretches to fit a multitude of sizes in both children and adult sizing.
