The Cold Water Cove ruffled scarf is the perfect accent for those days with an occasional passing breeze and lots of sunshine. The short scarf and cascading ruffles provide a gently whimsical look, and the scarf itself is a good beginner knit, worked all in garter stitch but using short rows.

This pattern uses 460 yards of DK weight yarn, US size 8 needles, and two stitch markers. This pattern uses garter stitch and short rows and contains a short rows image tutorial.
