This kimono is simple enough for the confident beginner. Mitered squares build upon each other as you go. You will need one skein each of ten colors, plus 2 skeins of black. Kits for this design are available - please contact us for kit information. The color combinations in the mitered squares are worked like a multiplication table (as pointed out to me by an 11 year old). Not only is the kimono fun to make, observing how the colors affect each other is very informative.

For those of us who are more ample than others, the size can be increased by going to a larger needle and a gauge of 4.5 st/inch. This will yield close to an additional 6” circumference.
