Many of the most iconic depictions of the human form feature a daring contrapposto, the confident and natural ‘counterpose’ setting the shoulders and hips at different angles. Defiant, strong, sexy--the contrapposto has always carried the weight in its own way and looked good doing it.
Gauge - 32 stitches = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
Needles - US #1/2.25 mm (or size to get gauge) for knitting a small item in the round (either double points, two circulars, or one long circular for magic loop).
Notions - Tapestry needle, stitch markers.
Skill level - Advanced beginner (Kitchener stitch).
