Worked with double pointed or long circular with magic loop,
top down. I gave instruction for a shorter sock. It is easy to
adjust size using a magic loop long needle and trying it on.
You may add or decrease sts either side of center back pattern.
I am usually bored with socks as after the first there is
always the second to look forward to. These were so fun I
enjoyed the second one too! I love the gammel dame… dancing elderly lady!
I will still have the same e-mail: cindy@norskneedlework.com
for questions.
Note I am now designing under Cynthia Atley Peterson, my
new name after my divorce. I took my father’s Norwegian name.
I will probably stay CWOZ on Ravelry so as not to confuse
everyone. I used the Rauma Gammelserie and loved it as it has a slightly tighter twist. Socks will wear longer but feel wonderful.
You may use Finnelgarn in its place.
It calls for 2 50 g balls of white and 2 of blue
Nordic Fiber Arts will soon have a whole new range of colors in Gammel Serie garn
