This sock pattern comes in two variations within one .pdf-file.

Knitting skills required: Cabling, easy lace, short rows, k2tog, ssk, knitting in the round.

Instructions and charts are there for both versions. A solid one using cabled stitches and a lace version.

For easier cabling without using a cable needle please see my blog and click to patterns - there is a photo tutorial how I made it.

I called the pattern cross and meet because there are lines which cross each other, meet each other and cross again. Just like people in life……… or like streets in a town?

This is my very first pattern and English is a foreign language to me. I want to thank Dave and Monika, who were the first two of the testknitters and I’m not able to thank them enough for their very helpful hints. Maybe there is a touch of German left, but I made my best efford to write a useful pattern.

There are two .pdf-files for download. Both are the same pattern, one in English and one in German. The language is shown in the name of the file.

Happy knitting
Bea
