Size will totally depend on yarn and cylinder choice.

A longer hat may take more than 100 grams of yarn.

Uses a hair elastic to finish hole for pony tail/ bun

Easily finished off the machine with just a bit of crochet work or using a needle to sew elastic around pony tail hole.

Made for a Circular Sock Machine. You will need a matching ribber dial to the cylinder, 54/54, 60/60, 72/72, 80/80, 84/84. Need to be comfortable with ribbing and have a machine that will rib well. I strongly recommend knitting a sample piece to make sure your machine will knit this loose enough.
