Finished Size: S (M, L, XL); 38.5” (43.5”, 48”, 52.5”) hip/bust. Intended ease: minimum +5” to fit actual hip/bust sizes 32” (36”, 42”, 46”). If in-between sizes, it is suggested to choose the larger size as this yarn creates a very dense fabric.

Yarn: 200 (260, 330, 400) yards of slubby, super bulky wool yarn.
2 (3, 4, 4) skeins of Knit Collage’s Sister Yarn (approx. 100 yards/91 meters in 215 grams, 100% wool) or a bulky/super bulky yarn that gets the required gauge.
Photographed in color Rich Eggplant.

Needles: One 16” & 32” circular needle in size US 15 (10mm); or size needed to obtain gauge.

Skill Level: Intermediate.

Construction Notes:
The sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up, with slight waist and bust shaping. The body is then divided and underarm stitches cast off. The front and back are worked separately and identically with minimal short row shoulder shaping. The body is finished with a three needle bind-off at each shoulder. Stitches for each cap sleeve are then picked up and worked in the round with some short row shaping.
While the majority of the sweater is worked in stockinette stitch, there is a row of garter stitch at each edge (waist, neck, and sleeve) to prevent rolling. The side “seams” of the body also feature a few purl stitches to incorporate waist and bust shaping.
