This textured beanie riffs on the royal crowns of Europe by playing with ribbing, garter stitch, twists, cables and bobbles. Knitted bottom-up and in-the-round from the brim edge to the top. The hat begins with an easy 1x1 ribbed brim, followed by rows of garter stitch and a twisted honeycomb pattern, ending with more complex cables for the crown. All decreases are incorporated into the cabled crown pattern. Includes both written and charted instructions for cables.
