Deloras is a buttoned cowl or scarf knit end to end, featuring an asymmetric cable design, a textured panel and a cable braid. Designed to be worn up around the neck. The short buttoned version is perfect for tucking inside a coat.

The pattern is suitable for an adventurous beginner or someone new to cables as there is no shaping required.

The pattern instructions are written out in full, with a chart for the cable if that is your preference. Both the chart and the written instructions have a set up row for the cable.

The short version is suitable for a single 100g skein, while the longer version will require at least 200g.

While gauge is not critical to this cowl any change in gauge will affect the yarn requirement.

As identified by some of the testers you may experience a little flaring at the ends below the cable, this will block out if using a wool or mostly animal fibre blend.

This design has been successfully test knit.
