Double-Double Crochet Hat
Materials:
- Approx. 75 yards each of 3 colors worsted weight yarn (light, medium, dark)
- Size K hook (or size to achieve gauge)
- Yarn needle
Gauge: 10 sts, 5-1/2 rounds = 4” in double crochet
Directions given in pattern for larger and smaller size hat.
The last 3 photos are of many Double-Double Crochet Hats made by coworkers and me to be donated to the 2009 Crochet & Knit-A-Thon “Snug Hugs for Kids” & other charity drives.
Use scraps of various colors, holding 2 strands together throughout and shading colors from light to dark.
This is my favorite hat to make, to give, to wear – warm & comfortable.
