Introducing my Emergency Vehicles knitting pattern to knit a fire engine, ambulance and police car.
PATTERN INFO:
- The ambulance is 17 cm long, fire engine 19 cm long and police car 14 cm long.
- The pattern is 14 pages and written in English.
- Most pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles.
- The light bars on top of the vehicles and ladder are i-cord knitted on two DPNs.
- These patterns incorporate short rows.
- The window struts are embroidered in chain stitch.
- You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, knit stripes and sew seams.
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
- A pair of straight 3.5 mm (US 4) single-pointed knitting needles
- Two 3.5 mm (US 4) DPNs
- Double knitting yarns (DK or light worsted weight)
- Buttons to decorate
- Toy filling
