Named after the Oregon coast range, this cowl is warm and cozy and perfect for a cold day at the coast or in the mountains. The pattern uses a modification of the herringbone stitch to create a beautiful texture worked in the round. Knitted in a tube and then seemed, no work side shows when worn.

This pattern uses 220 yards worsted weight yarn, four US size 8 double pointed needles, a stitch marker, and a yarn needle.

Sample cowl made with yarn from Skeinberry.
