These felted coasters are a great project to learn mitered squares, and a first time felting project.

This design can be knit with any worsted wool or wool blend yarn that will felt.

Pattern is written for small (medium, large).

Square measurement estimations after felting 4½“, (4¾”,5“)
Sizes can differ due to differences in the felting process.

This pattern was originally designed for the 2014 East Tennessee Yarn Crawl, the pattern is now available for purchase.

Materials:
• Worsted Yarn:
Approximately 20 (35, 30) - 30 (35, 40) yards, of 2 colors for each coaster - wool or blend that will felt
• Darning needle
Needles Used:
• US10 (6mm) straight needles or 16” circular
Gauge:
• 1 inch = 8 stitches in stockinette, before felting
