I love the way even a fairly complicated stitch pattern looks textured when worked all-over, in a small yarn. This open cardigan uses a lovely fingering wool-silk blend in an all-over lace-and-cable pattern that’s simpler than it looks.

An A-line shape and modified drop-shoulder silhouette keep things from being too fussy; a deep, soft rolled collar makes the sweater versatile in the closet, as well.

Sizes 35 1/2 (39, 42, 45 1/2, 48 1/2, 51 1/2, 58, 61 1/2, 64 1/2)“ 90 (99, 106.5, 115.5, 123, 131, 147.5, 156, 164) cm require 11 (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19) hanks of Tern at the gauge specified.
