Our goldfish bowl rests on a cold hard slate windowsill, and I got sick of the facecloth that I placed between them to protect the goldfish bowl from shattering if put down too hard on the windowsill.

So I made a doily from Original sugar n cream, nice and soft, absorbent for any drips after cleaning, and several of the colours even match and tone with our fish!

This mat can also double up as a placemat, hot pad for dishes, anywhere you need something soft and heat resistant.
