This is one of the patterns in my eBook How to Spin and Knit Gradient Tops… coming March 2015.

This is a spin to knit pattern… its origin in design is based on a visit to Brixham, but the colour idea is based on my recent gradient spinning series.

Skill Level – Intermediate.

Yarn – 186g/99m, 8wpi bulky weight hand spun yarn. Alternatively you could try a commercial bulky weight. The gradient is made using lessons learned in the ‘Faux’ gradient conversation of the spinning series.

Needles – 6mm/10 US 60cm circulars.

Finished Measurements – Laying flat the cowl measures 12 inches by 12 inches (30.5cm)

To Fit: One size fits all.

Ease – None.
