Fluffy bow
This pattern is
available for free.
This pattern is for a beaded bow with a slip-stich pattern. The bow can be used as a hair bow, as a brooch on its own or as decoration on another project.
The pattern is in one size and gauge is unimportant, although I recommend knitting tightly when using beads.
I used Rowans Alpaca cotton yarn, just a little of a skein, for this project, but I believe most yarns could be used. Use needles about 0.5 mm smaller than recommended for the yarn when adding beads to a project.
I used the color Dark Damson (411) in the pictures.
I also used
- 34 seed beads, size 6/0 or 4 mm (in the pictures 24 transparent with silver lining and 10 transparent green with silver lining are used)
- beading needle
- darning needle
- a hair barette back (available at most hobby stores)
