Gefn is a goddess that symbolises all green and growing things. Gefn is a lacy shawl using ladybird stitch to form a light airy body to the shawl and edged in rose leaves and flowers. The shawl has a crochet cast off with beads to represent the dew on the flowers.

The shawl can be knitted in a fingering weight or lace weight yarn, 2 skeins for the Tosh sock or 1 skein for the Touch yarn.

Beads are optional, but I think they add a nice touch and an extra bit of weight.

If using the lace weight yarn, the gauge is 24 st to 4 inches, and 302 yards (567 meters) were used.

Of course, please let me know if there are any errors so I can correct them.
