These fun socks are not hard to make. You can make the two of them the same, or mix up the colors as I did in the samples. They’ll be fun to make and wear whichever way you decide to do it. You can use stash yarns making sure that you have more of the main color. Read the instructions for setting the dye before you cake the yarn. The only skills you need for making these socks, are knitting, purling slipping stitches and yo’s. If you would like them to look more like a black and white graphic novel, use black, white, and light and darker grey’s, with a single bright solid color for the ribbing, heels, and toe. You can have fun experimenting with this pattern.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a knowledge of knitting, purling and slipping stitches)

The stitches are both charted and written out, and sized for Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large (all sized by gauge)

These socks were expertly tested by Rebecca Wood who can be reached at: rkwood16@ gmail.com. The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Quintet.
