The Half Moon Sunhat is exclusively available to members of the ‘A Southern Summer’ pattern club - An exclusive pattern club for the Southern Hemisphere 2011/2012 Summer.

The sunhat is knit utilising the top down raglan shaping method. This pattern features lace, which is both charted and in written format.
It comes written for 4ply/Fingering and 8ply/DK weight yarns, and in sizes 33cm head circumference (approximately newborn) to 53cm (large child/small adult)

The pattern is an excellent opportunity to use up single skeins of solid or semisolid wool or cotton (and blends).


Yarn requirements:
This pattern is suitable for plant and animal fibres
33cm – 120m, 37cm – 130m, 41cm – 140m, 45cm – 150m, 49cm – 170m, 53cm – 180m


This pattern is the second of 3 patterns in the ‘A Southern Summer’ pattern club.
