a simple pattern if you just want to relax and have something to show for it.
Happy because the finished scarf looks like a big cheesy grin.
Happy because it’s knitted like a shawl (starts with just a few stitches) to wear like a scarf, which means you don’t have to make a swatch, you don’t have to cast on a zillion stitches and you can just knit until you run out of yarn or like the size.
Happy because it’s reversible.
Happy because it’s light and fluffy and made using kidsilk, one of my favourite yarns: just one skein combined with a tweedy yarn for a light but warm scarf.
If you use Rowan Kidsilk Stripe you’ll be able to make 2 scarves with a single skein.
Or try it with other yarn combos - one lace weight, one fingering weight.
