This pattern is for a crochet Heart Baby Blanket. Perfect for wrapping a baby in or a wheelchair bound person, use with a crib or a toddler bed. Can be made with yarn of your choice with the color combinations of your choice, I chose to use acrylic because of all the wonderful colors available in it. Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used both a size “I” for the one pictured.

Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: I / 5.5 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Approximately 915 yards of worsted weight or cotton yarn or any yarn of your choice (I used Caron One Pound in Lilac)
• Scissors or yarn cutter

Approximate finished size: depends on crochet hook size and type of yarn, my baby blanket is 35 inches x 40

Gauge using “I”: 4 inches x 4 inches = 14 DC stitches by 7 rows of DC

Abbreviations: (U.S. terms)
CH = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
SL = Slip Stitch
