This pattern is for a crochet Heart Baby Blanket. Perfect for wrapping a baby in or a wheelchair bound person. Can be made with yarn of your choice with the color combinations of your choice, I chose to use acrylic because of all the wonderful colors available in it. Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used a size “J” for the one pictured.

Skill Level: will need to know basic crochet stitches (chain, double crochet, single crochet, and slip stitch) and will need to know how to count stitches

Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: J / 6.0 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Approximately 745 yards of worsted weight or cotton yarn or any yarn of your choice (I used Caron One Pound in Soft Sage)
• Scissors or yarn cutter

Approximate finished size: depends on crochet hook size and type of yarn, my baby blanket is 34 inches x 40

Gauge using “J”: 4 inches x 4 inches = 12 DC stitches by 7 rows of DC

Abbreviations: (U.S. terms)
CH = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
SL = Slip Stitch

Pattern includes written instructions and chart

*** Directions are for right handed crochet, but the pattern is reversable so can be worked as is for a left handed person, then just flip the blanket over… or you can work each row in reverse order ***
