This pattern is for a crochet Heart Baby Blanket. Perfect for wrapping a baby in or a wheelchair bound person, use with a crib or a toddler bed. Would look beautiful thrown on a couch (might need to add a couple of sections to it to make it large enough). Can be made with yarn of your choice with the color combinations of your choice, I chose to use acrylic because of all the wonderful colors available in it. Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used both a size “H” (for the buttercream) and a size “I” (for the sky blue) for the ones pictured.

Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: H / 5.0 mm or I / 5.5 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Approximately 860 yards of worsted weight or cotton yarn or any yarn of your choice (I used Caron One Pound in Sky Blue for the blue one pictured and Big Tent Monster Ball in Buttercream for the yellow one)
• Scissors or yarn cutter

Approximate finished size: depends on crochet hook size and type of yarn, the smaller blue baby blanket is 35 inches x 38 inches and the buttercream is 40 inches x 54 inches

Gauge using “I”: 4 inches x 4 inches = 14 DC stitches by 7 rows of DC

Abbreviations: (U.S. terms)
CH = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
SL = Slip Stitch
