I love winter. Specifically October- December. Starting with spooks and treats, my birthday is midway, wrapping up with evergreen trees and fun holiday lights!

To celebrate this year, I set out to recreate the holiday stocking of my childhood. With a fun lil twist in the form of a squee -worthy fox paw pattern.

Whatever your holiday of choice, celebrate in cuteness!

Stocking is knit from the bottom up, starting with the paw. The front and back are knit separately then sewed together and then blocked. The best part, this project is a stash buster!

Size once blocked: 5 by 15 inches

Gauge: 4.5 stitches = 1¨ wide.

Materials used:

Size 7 needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Yarn used: Poppy’s Pom Pom Samoyed Yarn. 75% Samoyed and 25% merino.
125 yards; 2oz: 3 ply- DK weight

Color A- 1 ball light grey
Color B- 1 ball orange
Color C- 1 ball black
Color D- 1 ball white
