Introducing my Hopton Scarf pattern, which I designed exclusively for Baa Ram Ewe’s beautiful new Dovestone Natural Aran yarn.
This pattern was inspired by my love of simple knitting, because in today’s busy lives, there is nothing more calming and relaxing than sitting back with some garter stitch at the end of the day….or during the day if you’re waiting for someone or something!

Hopton is easy to knit, with a gradient created by combining two shades held together and alternating them. A little preparation is needed to make the skeins into balls ready to knit, for a smooth and enjoyable project. The result is a fun knit and a stunning, easy to wear wrap!

You will need 10mm/US 15 straight knitting needles, and kitchen scales to divide the yarn into the right sized balls for the gradient.

Happy Knitting!
