This hat is for we women who must sparkle! The pattern includes directions for both bulky and worsted yarns. The heavier is a warm hat for the woman who loves attracting attention in the great outdoors. The lighter is a hat for the woman who loves to look stylish while out and about, where ever that may be.

The hat is knitted in the round. It includes simple slip stitches and is easy to knit. The pattern forms a “ladder” into which you can nestle crystals, beads, or whatever you can think of!

The bulky version requires one skein of Malabrigo Mecha or other bulky yarn (approximately 100 yards required.) It is knitted using US 7 and US 9 circular needles. The finished hat (unblocked) is about 18” in circumference and 8.5” high.

The worsted version requires one skein of Malabrio Rios or other worsted yarn (approximately 100 yards required.) It is knitted using US 6 and US8 circular needles. The finished hat (unblocked) is about 17” in circumference and 8.5” high.

Other materials required are optional crystals or beads, pompom and finishing needle.
