Integrali because it was originally designed for a fabulous Countess Ablaze “harvest” yarn, but also because the border is knitted in as you go and because it looks good on both sides (see pics 3 and 4 - courtesy of dodo).

A bias knit that starts and ends with just a few stitches - no counting, or casting on or binding off lots of stitches.

Comments from one tester:

Unique bias construction and the pattern is easy to memorize. I love the border as its knitted all in one…no adding borders afterwards. Easy pattern to follow with lots of information guiding you through the construction process.

The pattern is modular (using percentages) so that you can adapt it to the yarn you have available. You’ll need to weigh your yarn.

You can make a small scarf with 100g of DK or sport (but for a larger one you’ll need about 150g). 100g of sock yarn will be plenty to make a long scarf.
