A simple mitt with a pretty lace cuff and stocking stitch hand portion, knit in the round from cuff to base of fingers. By using a tighter gauge for the stocking stitch hand portion you get a snug fitting mitt.

The lace pattern requires attention as the stitch count of the repeat changes to give the 3D effect.

The picture of the red and blue mitt show the difference in size that can be achieved with a slight change in gauge.
Length of both the cuff and hand portions can be adjusted according to preference.

Thanks to some lovely and fast knitters, the pattern has been successfully test knit including a two colour version.
