This poncho is the child size version of the adult Trilix pattern. The poncho is knit in two identical panels that are sewn together after blocking. Three stitch patterns are used, including a seed stitch border surrounding each panel. The flower lace pattern is provided in written and chart form. Directions are provided for two sizes: small (4-6) and large (8-10). The pictured version is a size small and was knit in Cascade Sunseeker to add a little sparkle. Cascade Ultra Pima is another great alternative for this pattern.

Materials: 2 skeins Cascade Yarns Sunseeker (47% cotton, 48% acrylic, 5% metallic; 237yd/217m per 100g skein) or approximately 270 (340) yard of DK weight yarn, US #6/4.0mm straight needles, US F 5/3.75mm crochet hook, stitch marker and yarn tapestry needle.
