The Quest Vest was designed to be distributed to participants in the 2023 West Michigan Yarn Quest. The Quest Vest is a one piece, no-seam vest that requires no finishing other than the front ties. You will begin with the upper back. Once complete, stitches are put on hold while the upper fronts are completed by picking up stitches at the shoulders and knitting down to the underarm. Back stitches are then returned to the needle and joined with the front sections. The body is knit without shaping, but an option for A-line shaping is provided. The body is knit to the desired length and the bottom edge is completed in garter stitch to avoid curling. The neck and sleeve openings are edged with reverse stockinette and a slipped stitch for a neat, finished look.
