Miramis is an adaptable crescent shaped shawl. It’s elegant textured body of cable lines over reverse stockinette flows into the lace in a series of arches, and both the body and lace sections of the shawl can be worked to any size, making it very easy to customise size.

Thank you so much for your support - it raised a total of $440 for Raices Texas.

The adaptability of the pattern creates flexibility as to yardage, as the shawl can be worked in 400 - 1000m or more of lace to DK weight yarn, or solid, semi-solid, gradient, low-contrast variegated, or perhaps a subtle speckled yarn.
The lace stitch pattern was created by Naomi Parkhurst.

  • The size of the shawl is adaptable, both the texture body and the lace sections can be worked to any size.

  • Suits lace to fingering weight yarn in any yardage between approx 400m and 1000m (440-1100y).

  • The design can be worked entirely from the written pattern, or from charts with some notes. I’ve noted the gauge of the sample shawl, but it isn’t critical for this project.
