My inspiration for the Mod Case, a simple crochet I-phone case, came from the fabrics of the sixties with their daring geometric designs and eye-popping colors. The case only uses remnants of yarn and is stitched in the blink of an eye! It is worked in the round from the bottom up, in a spiral, in single crochet through the back loop only. Once the body of the case is finished, the case is turned inside out, and the bottom is seamed shut. The design is created with an overlay technique, where simple slip stitches anchored on the horizontal bars formed by the single crochets make the geometric pattern.
