This scarf can be made with about 1/2 skein of each color. It is a fun knit using mitred triangles to create a nicely reversible fabric. You have the added option of working from either written out or charted instructions.

This design was inspired by and fits the criteria of the Scarves for Special Olympics Washington State Games. It is my hope that those who take advantage of the free download will make up at least one scarf for donation to a charitable cause.

This is a scarf, so gauge is not as important as your satisfaction with the resulting fabric … but the scarf pictured had a gauge of 14 sts and 26 rows to 4 inches in garter stitch.

Thank you to Cindy Harrison. She is the test knitter of my dreams.
