Peggy Jean Kaylor
… well, I don’t have a website. Sorry, but that’s life.
I learned my first knitting and crochet stitches as a young child of about 4 from one of my maternal great-grandmothers and my paternal grandmother; then was mentored further by two aunts, one on each side of the family. These days, I find that I don’t need to have a pattern. Frequently, I doodle ‘from my head’ until I get something that works well for the yarn I’m ‘playing’ with. The response to my doodlings has prompted me to begin publishing patterns for the best of them.
about my favorite ravatar: She is a Neolithic sandstone sculpture … a fertility goddess squatting in childbirth … found on the island of Cyprus … now housed in the Getty Villa, an antiquities museum located in Malibu, California … I took the picture myself while researching a paper for an Art History class.
If anyone has comments on or problems with my instructions, I want to know! Please send me a personal message on Ravelry … or send an email to me at firstname.lastname@example.org … in cases of errata, I will respond ASAP … should at least be within 2 or 3 days. (I tend to check my stuff every day - several times a day - and will try to respond in a timely fashion.)
