Norwegian Mittens - Winter Spruce WG06 SO06

Summary: This pattern includes charts for two main hand patterns: “Winter Spruce,” of EZ’s own design, and “a typical Norwegian snowflake design.” Also charted are a cuff and palm pattern. The “Thumb Trick” is described in this pattern, and an optional i-cord cast-on is mentioned.

Size: Large adult. 4.5” wide at palm, 7.5” from tip to wrist, 11” total length

Materials: 3oz each of two colors of medium-weight wool; we used Homespun & 2-ply Sheepswool. An 11.5” circular needle, and/or a set of d.p. needles of a size to give you wanted gauge (about #2-4).
