Penny’s Peony Lace Scarf is dedicated to a good friend who adores scarves! This one is extra-long so you can wrap it around your neck for additional warmth! It features fancy bottom borders, little leaves at the side edges and a central lacy Peony pattern. You work this scarf from the bottom up in halves that are joined in the center. Using either charts or written directions this scarf is sure to please as it is worked then worn to accent your wardrobe!

Finished measurements after blocking are a generous length of 108” x 6” wide.

Yarn: 580 yards of fingering weight. Sample made with 3 balls of Knitpicks Palette fingering 100% Peruvian Highland Wool; 231 yards/50 grams; in color—Fuchsia.

Needles and Notions: Size U.S. 5 straight needles and 1 spare to hold stitches; yarn needle to work Kitchener stitch and weave in ends.
