This granny scarf is perfect for cheering on the Portland Thorns of the NWSL in all weather. Keep it wrapped around your neck to stay warm on a grey day. If it gets to warm, swing or hold it over your head to show your team’s colors and cheer with the crowd.
This scarf is made with thirteen basic granny squares sewn together to make a series of roses of two different sizes in an otherwise green scarf.

This pattern uses 215 yards worsted weight yarn (35 red, 180 green), F hook, a yarn needle, a stitch marker (if desired). Instructions for a basic granny square are included.
