When I was gifted this lovely yarn from my mother, I knew I wanted to make something extra special with it. The colors were so pretty and the silk so soft and luxurious I wanted to be able to enjoy it without diluting it with other types of yarn to make a larger project. So I decided that a simple pair of fingerless gloves would work the best! It would use the yarn without requiring more yardage since I had just one special skein. When I was done, my husband insisted that they looked “punk” which gave rise to the title Pretty in Punk.

This pattern is specifically designed to work with highly variegated yarn. Color pooling is not really an issue as it looks cool-- and punk!! The lace pattern is fun and easy and doesn’t require any blocking. Best of all, you can make these gloves in one day. Easily.

The instructions are mostly written, but I have included a small chart for the stitch pattern itself. (As well as written instructions for the stitch pattern.)
