Hi! My name is Megan and I’m a thirty-something living in the backwoods of Tennessee with my husband Lucas, who is also an artist. (Check out his website!) We also have a lovely daughter!

I learned to crochet from my wonderful mother when I was young because she said everyone needed to have a few crafting skills. (She also insisted my brothers learn!) I made a washcloth that grew to epic proportions when used…

Some time later, in college, I picked it up again. (Crochet that is, not the washcloth!) This time I learned to make amigurumis and it was love. I’ve since learned to make other crochet items, like lace doilies and the like, and love those, too!

A few years later, I decided to learn how to knit. I had a bit of help learning to cast on, but otherwise am self-taught. My favorite thing to do now is work with lace yarn for my knitting projects.

I began designing amigurumis in 2012 and have been slowly building my pattern database! I’m also branching out into knit designs and patterns for other crafts.

Other than that, I’m a bit of a geek. I love all things fantasy and science fiction, dinosaurs, Norse culture, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Tolkien, dragons and some Gothic and creepy things. (My projects and patterns reflect this!) Besides knitting and crochet I also know how to: spin, sew, tat, tablet weave and make jewelry.
