Prevail is a generously-sized shawl featuring a simple eyelet lace worked in combination with easy garter stitch, with not even a single purl anywhere. The shawl is constructed in one piece from a few cast on stitches, and it’s shaped into a modern asymmetric triangle with increases worked along one edge.

The dynamic stripes create interesting transitions from color to color and from garter stitch to lace. Since the shawl is worked completely in garter, it can be left unblocked, making this a quick and easy project and a great last minute gift idea.

Blocked: width 35.5” at the deepest point x length 85” wingspan (violet sample)
Unblocked: width 25” at the deepest point x length 62” wingspan (teal sample)

Note about the yarn (brand new):
Fiber Obsessions Proud Yak (60% Superwash Merino, 20% Yak, 20% Silk; 380 yards / 100 grams - fingering)
color Moonstruck Moonstone (MC – both samples)
color Amorous Amethyst (CC – violet sample)
Zealous Zircon (CC – teal sample)
one skein of MC and one skein of CC
