PROFESSOR PROTON TOY DOLL KNITTING PATTERNS
Professor Proton is a quick to knit doll and would make a great gift for science geeks.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the doll, 10 photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. A photo tutorial on how to add the hair to the head is included. The pattern is 4 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, change colours at the ends of a row (knit stripes) and sew seams.
YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)
- A 3.5mm crochet hook to add the hair (US 4/E)
- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 25g in each colour
- Toy filling
