Update June 2021: I have updated the file for this pattern to be in line with my current pattern format. The file has been trimmed down to 2 pages for easy printing. A download of the step-by-step photo tutorial for the rosebuds used in the cowl can be found via Ravelry. The rosebuds work up quickly and it’s easy to churn them out once you get started.

This cowl could easily be worked in a variety of colours for different effects- grey, dark purple, and deep green for a more gothic look; pink, variegated, and light green for a fun look; soft brown, mahogany, and emerald for a sophisticated look- the possibilities are endless! The body is worked in aran-weight yarn, the roses in a DK, and the leaves in bulky yarn.
