This little neckerchief is the manly version of my Scallo-Pie shawlette pattern: Instead of a scalloped edge, Sharky-Pie features an innovative shark-tooth border that just takes two rows to knit. I provide an instructional video, the link is included in the pattern. You can close the neckerchief by pulling one end through a one-row-buttonhole that is placed strategically at one of the long tails. This way, it will come off if it gets caught somewhere – no risk of strangling for your little one! The wide triangular shape (22.5 degrees at the tips instead of the usual 45 degrees) provides warmth at the neck without being bulky. Knits up in just a couple of hours with sport-weight yarn and makes an adorable last-minute gift for babies and toddler boys (or sharky girls, of course).

Hint: You can use the shark-tooth border described in this pattern as an alternative edging for my 22.5-Degrees-Shawl for adults as well!
