This pattern is for a lap blanket with a subtle sheep motif. This pattern would be suitable for beginners, because the sheep motif is made with just knitting and purling. The instructions are written and do not include a chart. The pattern includes instructions for a toddler size (pictured) and regular size. The toddler size is perfect for little hands to take along while the regular makes a great lap blanket.

The bulky yarn knits up quickly and is squishy soft. The pattern is worked flat in panels which are sewn or crocheted together at the end. The toddler size consists of two panels with two repeats of the sheep motif per panel. The regular size consists of three panels with six repeats of the sheep motif per panel.

The toddler size takes approximately 200 yards of bulky weight yarn and the regular size takes approximately 1,000 yards of bulky weight yarn.
