Easy handwarmers designed for beginner knitters. Just one skein of beautiful hand-dyed Malabrigo “Mecha”, or Plymouth “Chunky Merino Superwash”, is all you need to knit up a cozy pair of handwarmers. Both options are machine washable! Skills used include the long-tail cast on, knit stitch and bind off.

Materials Needed:
Yarn: 1 skein Malabrigo “Mecha” or Plymouth “Chunky Merino Superwash
Needles: US 9, 9” long straight needles

Gauge:
4 sts / 1” in garter stitch

Finished size: 14” circumference (slightly stretched) and 7” tall
