This is a perfect project for the beginner knitter. Just one skein of beautiful hand-dyed Malabrigo “Mecha” or Plymouth “Chunky Merino Superwash” is all you need to knit up a cozy cowl. It’s even machine washable!

Materials Needed:
Yarn: 1 skein Malabrigo “Mecha” (130 yards), OR Plymouth “Chunky Merino Superwash” (123 yards)
Needles: US 10, 16” circular needles, or size to obtain gauge
Notions: 1 ring marker, 1 tapestry needle

Gauge:
4 sts / 1” in stockinette stitch

Finished size: 22” circumference and 8” tall
